BACKGROUND AND HISTORY

  • Incorporated in October 2002, AIG Business Processing Services, Inc. (the former name of Integra) was a joint venture of American General and PhilamLife to provide offshore backroom processing including contact center services to American International Group Inc. and its various subsidiaries and affiliates worldwide.
  • In January 2003, the Company launched full operations composed of two pilot teams with 40 employees.
  • From 2004-2006 - marked continuous growth as more processes were migrated and process complexity increased across different businesses ranging from back-office processing to call center operations.
  • In 2007, the Company expanded its operations to include General Insurance, thus a second operations site also in Alabang emerged gradually increasing its workforce to over 1200.
  • In 2009, the Company's General Insurance operations division was ceded to unite with Chartis Technology and Operations Management Corporation.
  • In 2010, the Company was renamed Integra Business Processing Solutions Inc. and its business focus opened up to a broader spectrum of services which includes outsourcing services for global companies outside of the captive, offshore business model.
